Technical Support is always a vital consideration when making any technical decision that affects your company. It is a two-level concern: Availability and Cost.
Daylight Websites has no proprietary software. We do not lock you in to a home-grown environment that only we can support. We chose as our overall architecture the most popular and open product we could find. WordPress is a magnificent product and not only will it save you money, it also represents insurance against being trapped and held hostage to a unique support provider.
At Daylight Websites we believe our reputation is indelibly linked to your level of satisfaction with us. As a result, we will respond to any client concern immediately – even if we are having breakfast.
Cost of Technical Support
Should you decide to use us for your Technical Support needs, we have a very simple philosophy: if you caused the problem, we’re going to charge you to fix it. Conversely, if you host your website with us and there is a problem with the software through no fault of yours, we will endeavor to fix any problem for no charge. If you do not host your website with us, we will immediately let you know if we can help or not and leave the decision with you.
All Daylight Websites hourly rates are $75 per hour. In the case of Support, we charge to the nearest minute (rounded down) so that your cost is minimized.
Technical Support Availability
Our clients are provided with our AIM (AOL Instant Message) Identity to enable fast and efficient triage of any encountered problem. Often these can be resolved almost immediately.
Should we not be available, call our general telephone line and even if we do not immediately answer, an automatically transcribed message is sent to our cellphones 24/7. We return all calls.
